Sacrament Preparation for Your Children
Receiving a Sacrament for the first time is an incredible event that calls for an extra measure of prayer and preparation; the foundation for readiness is through yearly religious formation – each year counts.
Your children can prepare to receive the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Communion, and later on also prepare to receive the sacrament of Confirmation. Call the office to register for classes on the Word of God and Sacraments.

Holy Communion is the body, blood, soul and divinity of Jesus Christ. Receiving the Eucharist is the closest we can come to God while on earth. It is a sacred moment. Since this moment is so sacred, we encourage a preparation for the first time a child receives Holy Communion which involves prayer, study and love. At San Pedro, we offer complementary classes to assist parents and teachers in preparing children for this wondrous gift.

Confirmation
Confirmation Teachers (left to right) are: Ms. Guadalupe (Confirmation 2), Ms. Vicky (Confirmation 1)
At Pentecost, 50 days after Jesus’ resurrection, the Holy Spirit came upon the disciples giving them Gifts. This is what happens during the Sacrament of Confirmation. We are given the Holy Spirit with abundant gifts such as Wisdom, Understanding, Fortitude, and even fruits such as Love, Joy and Peace. These are just some of the many gifts we can obtain from the Holy Spirit. Through the sacrament of Confirmation our relationship with Christ is strengthened.
Take the time and enroll in the preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation so that together we can defend the faith and be able to spread the Gospel courageously.
