Perpetual Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament

On September 8, 2023 (the Birthday of our Blessed Mother) perpetual adoration began at San Pedro Catholic Church. From 6:00am-9:00pm Adoration takes place in our beautiful adoration chapel, and from 9:00pm-6:00am, Adoration takes place in the pre-selected homes through San Pedro Town and Ambergris Caye.

Perpetual adoration is simply our response to His love whereby each of us is willing to spend a quiet holy hour of prayer in His Eucharistic Presence once a week on a regular basis that we may have perpetual exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day and at least one person with Jesus at all times, so that we never leave Him alone, and that together, as a parish family, we give Him the greatest honor and glory on earth, in fulfillment of scripture: “Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive...honor, glory and praise.” (Rev 5:12).

Is Jesus important enough to you to set aside one special hour each week to be with Him? Just one hour once a week is all that He is asking. This is a simple matter of putting first things first. "In everything you do, put God first, and He will direct you and crown your efforts with success."
